WHY THESE GUIDELINES EXIST

Hireinst connects hospitality Workers and Restaurants across India. These Community Guidelines set out the simple, common-sense rules that keep Hireinst safe, honest, and useful for everyone. They apply to every User — Workers and Restaurants alike.

These Guidelines are part of our Terms of Service and work alongside our Acceptable Use Policy, Content Moderation Policy, and role-specific terms. If you break these Guidelines, we may act under the Content Moderation Policy — including removing content, limiting features, or suspending or removing accounts. Where a term isn't defined here, it has the meaning given in the Terms of Service.

THE FIVE THINGS WE ASK OF EVERYONE

1. Be real and be honest

• Use your real identity and genuine information.
• Workers: your profile, photo, resume, skills, and experience must be truthful and about you.
• Restaurants: your listing, logo, and job posts must be genuine, accurate, and for real vacancies you're authorised to fill.
• Don't impersonate anyone, don't create fake accounts, and don't run one account for someone else.

2. Be respectful

• Treat everyone with courtesy and professionalism.
• No harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, stalking, or unwanted advances.
• No hate speech or discrimination — including on the basis of religion, caste, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, place of birth, or any other protected characteristic. Hiring must follow our Anti-Discrimination / Equal Opportunity Hiring Policy.
• Keep messages relevant to hiring. Don't send abusive, obscene, or off-topic messages.

3. Keep it safe — no scams, no job-for-money

• No one should ever have to pay to get a job. Restaurants must not ask Workers for money, deposits, "registration fees", "training fees", or uniform charges as a fraudulent condition of applying, interviewing, or being hired.
• Workers: never pay money to get a job, and never share your password, OTP, or banking details. If someone asks, report it.
• No fraud, phishing, fake offers, or schemes designed to trick people.
• Don't ask for or share sensitive personal or financial information unless it's genuinely necessary and the opportunity is real.

4. Respect privacy and data

• Only use another person's contact details or personal information for the specific, genuine hiring purpose they were shared for.
• Don't sell, publish, or misuse anyone's personal data.
• Don't collect or scrape data from the Platform.
• Restaurants: when you receive a Worker's data, handle it responsibly and lawfully (see the Employer Terms).

5. Use Hireinst for what it's for

• Hireinst is for genuine hospitality hiring in India — nothing else.
• Don't spam, advertise unrelated products or services, or promote other platforms.
• Don't try to get around paywalls, contact-reveal controls, or usage limits.
• Don't post anything illegal, or use Hireinst to do anything illegal.

WHAT'S NOT ALLOWED (QUICK LIST)

To keep it clear, the following are not allowed on Hireinst. This list is a summary — the full list is in our Acceptable Use Policy.

• Fake profiles, fake restaurants, or fake job posts
• Asking Workers to pay money to get a job (as a fraudulent precondition)
• Harassment, threats, hate speech, or discrimination
• Obscene, sexual, or pornographic content; any content that harms or endangers a child
• Sharing someone's private information without permission ("doxxing")
• Non-consensual intimate images or morphed/impersonation images
• Defamatory, misleading, or knowingly false content
• Content that infringes someone's copyright, trademark, or other rights
• Spam, phishing, scams, malware, or fraudulent links
• Scraping, bots, or bulk data extraction
• Impersonation or misrepresenting your identity or authority
• Content that threatens India's unity, integrity, security, or public order, or incites an offence
• Circumventing safety or payment controls
• Anything else prohibited by the Acceptable Use Policy or by law

PROTECTING MINORS

Hireinst is only for people aged 18 and above. Content that sexualises, endangers, or exploits a child is strictly forbidden and will be removed and reported to the appropriate authorities. If you come across such content, report it immediately.

REPORTING PROBLEMS

If you see something that breaks these Guidelines — a scam, harassment, a fake job, inappropriate content, or anyone asking for money to hire — please tell us:

• Use the report or block tools in the app or website, where available; or
• Email support@hireinst.com; or
• For formal grievances, contact our Grievance Officer, Tallam Sai Kiran, at legal@hireinst.com.

We review reports and flags and take them seriously. We handle complaints under our Grievance Redressal Policy, acknowledging within 24–48 hours and resolving within the timelines required by law. Certain content (such as non-consensual intimate imagery) is actioned within 24 hours of a valid complaint.

Please report honestly. Filing fake, malicious, or frivolous reports is itself a violation.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU BREAK THE RULES

Depending on how serious the issue is, and whether it's repeated, we may:

• give you a warning;
• remove or hide the content;
• limit or remove certain features (for example, messaging or posting);
• suspend your account temporarily; or
• terminate your account permanently.

In serious cases, or where the law requires, we may also report the matter to law-enforcement or other authorities. Our full approach — including how we decide, and how you can appeal — is set out in the Content Moderation Policy.

CHANGES

We may update these Guidelines from time to time to keep the community safe and the Platform working well. The "Last Updated" date shows the current version. Continued use of Hireinst means you accept the current Guidelines.
