SUBSCRIPTION & BILLING TERMS

1. SCOPE
1.1. These Subscription & Billing Terms govern the purchase, billing, and renewal of paid plans ("Subscriptions") on Hireinst ("we", "us", "our").
1.2. They form part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and (for Restaurants) Employer (Restaurant) Terms. In case of conflict on billing matters, these Subscription & Billing Terms prevail. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
2. FREE PLAN AND PAID PLANS
2.1. Hireinst offers a free plan and one or more paid plans. The current plans, their features, limits, and prices are described on our pricing page at https://www.hireinst.com/pricing, which forms part of these Terms.
2.2. The free plan lets you evaluate the Services before purchasing a paid plan. Certain features (which may include contact reveal, unlimited job posts, priority listing, interview scheduling, or message templates) are available only on paid plans.
2.3. Who can subscribe. Paid Subscriptions are generally intended for Restaurants / Employers. You must have the authority to purchase on behalf of the entity you represent.
3. PRICES, CURRENCY, AND TAXES
3.1. Prices are stated on the pricing page and are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise.
3.2. Taxes. Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (including Goods and Services Tax, GST) unless expressly stated to be inclusive. Applicable taxes will be added and shown at checkout and on your invoice. Our GSTIN is 36AAVFT6494L1Z0.
3.3. Invoices. We (or our payment provider) will make a tax invoice/receipt available for each successful payment. Please ensure your billing details (including GSTIN, if you wish to claim input tax credit) are accurate before purchase.
4. BILLING CYCLES
4.1. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis for the billing cycle you select (for example, monthly or annual), as shown at checkout. Your paid features are enabled for the applicable billing cycle upon successful payment.
5. PAYMENTS AND PAYMENT PROVIDERS
5.1. Third-party processing. Payments are collected and processed by third-party payment service providers. By subscribing, you also agree to the applicable payment provider's terms and privacy policy.
5.2. Card and instrument data. We do not store your full card or bank-account details. These are handled by the payment provider in compliance with applicable card-network and Reserve Bank of India (RBI) requirements (including tokenisation where applicable).
5.3. Accurate payment information. You must provide valid, current, and complete payment information and are responsible for keeping it up to date.
6. AUTO-RENEWAL AND RECURRING PAYMENTS
6.1. Auto-renewal. If your Subscription is set to auto-renew, it will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle for a further cycle of the same length, at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date (see Clause 8).
6.2. Explicit consent. We enable auto-renewal only where you have given explicit, affirmative consent at purchase (for example, by choosing a recurring plan and registering a mandate). We do not rely on pre-ticked boxes.
6.3. RBI recurring-payment framework. Where auto-renewal uses a standing instruction / e-mandate on your card or account, it is set up and processed in accordance with the RBI framework for recurring payments as implemented by our payment provider. This framework includes registration of an e-mandate, a pre-debit notification sent to you in advance of each recurring charge, and additional-factor authentication where required (for example, for transactions above the prescribed threshold). You may manage or cancel the mandate as permitted by that framework and your bank/instrument issuer.
6.4. Failed renewals. If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it, downgrade your Account to the free plan or restrict paid features, and/or notify you to update your payment method.
7. UPGRADES, DOWNGRADES, AND CHANGES TO PLANS
7.1. Upgrades. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the change may take effect immediately, and we (or our provider) may charge a prorated or full amount for the new plan as shown at checkout.
7.2. Downgrades. If you downgrade, the change generally takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle, and reduced features/limits will apply from then. Downgrades do not, by themselves, entitle you to a refund of the current period (see the Refund & Cancellation Policy).
7.3. Changes to plans and prices. We may change our plans, features, limits, and prices from time to time. For existing Subscriptions, price changes will apply from your next renewal after we give you reasonable prior notice (for example, by email or in-app), so that you can decide whether to continue or cancel before the change takes effect. Continuing to use a paid plan after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
8. CANCELLATION
8.1. You may cancel a Subscription at any time through your Account settings or by writing to support@hireinst.com. To avoid being charged for the next cycle, you must cancel before the renewal date.
8.2. Effect. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless a refund is due under the Refund & Cancellation Policy or Applicable Law, your paid features remain active until the end of the current paid period, after which your Account reverts to the free plan or limited access.
8.3. No cancellation charge. We do not charge you a fee for cancelling, consistent with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
9. REFUNDS
9.1. Fees are non-refundable by default, subject to the specific and statutory exceptions set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy (including failed/duplicate transactions, billing errors, service not provided, unauthorised transactions, and any refund required by Applicable Law). Please refer to that Policy for the full position, the process, and timelines.
10. CHARGEBACKS AND DISPUTED CHARGES
10.1. If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact support@hireinst.com first so we can investigate and resolve it quickly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may delay resolution. We reserve the right to contest chargebacks that we believe are unwarranted, and to suspend or restrict Accounts with unresolved payment disputes or suspected payment fraud.
11. PROMOTIONS AND TRIALS
11.1. We may offer promotional pricing, discounts, credits, or free trials, subject to specific terms stated at the time. Promotions are time-limited, may be withdrawn or changed, are non-transferable, and have no cash value unless stated. If a paid Subscription follows a free trial, the applicable fee will apply after the trial unless you cancel before it ends, subject to the consent and notification requirements in Clause 6.
12. SUSPENSION FOR NON-PAYMENT OR BREACH
12.1. We may suspend or restrict paid features, or downgrade your Account, for non-payment, failed renewals, chargebacks, suspected payment fraud, or breach of the Terms of Service, in accordance with those Terms and the Content Moderation Policy.
13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
13.1. We may update these Subscription & Billing Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date reflects the current version, and material changes will be notified where appropriate. Price changes are handled under Clause 7.3.

Billing complaints are handled under the Grievance Redressal Policy, with acknowledgement within 48 hours and redress within one month, consistent with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
15. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
15.1. These Subscription & Billing Terms are governed by the laws of India and are subject to the dispute-resolution and jurisdiction provisions of the Terms of Service (arbitration seated at, and courts of, Hyderabad, Telangana), without prejudice to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
